Founded in 2009, Third Floor Espresso is a new café serving high-quality espresso and filter coffee. The barista and proprietor, Colin Harmon, had worked in the financial services industry in Dublin, before giving up his job to pursue a career in coffee. Within a year he had won the title of Irish Barista Champion, and six months later he came fourth overall at the World Barista Championship in Atlanta, Georgia.
The identity centres around an ambigram logo and a simple but distinct application and colour scheme.
